 EAGLE BAY CEMETERY

To reach this cemetery go west on the Trans Canada Highway from Salmon Arm, until you reach
the Balmoral Store. Turn right and proceed north on the Eagle Bay Road for 20.2 km. After 3 km.
you will pass the Blind Bay road, on the left - proceed on the Eagle Bay road - it follows the lakeshore
and is a very beautiful drive. At about 18 km. you will pass the Eagle Bay Hall, next you will pass a
Mini Mart store, both on your right hand side. Within a moment or two you will see the Community
Church on the right side. The graveyard is part of the churchyard. In the churchyard is a small
memorial park, surrounded by pyramid cedars. Within, it is gravelled and there are four memorial
benches placed, two on either side of a central dias on which are four flat stones with the words
"In Remembrance",  plus names. In the centre of these is a red marble, upright stone with the following
engraved upon it.

                       Eagle Bay Community Church
                       1994
                       Memorial Garden
                       God Said
I Will Never Leave Thee Nor Forsake Thee
                       Hebrews 13:5

The back side of the same stone says the following:

                       Jesus Said
I Go And Prepare A Place For You
And If I Go And Prepare A Place For You
                       I Will Come Again
                      And Receive You Unto Myself
                      That Where I Am,
                      There You Also May Be.
                      John 14:23
