QUERIES

As with most other genealogists we welcome the exchange of information and we will be happy to consider requests for information from people searching for family members in this area.

Our research secretary has access to the local  archives at Vernon, Armstrong and Enderby and to a considerable amount of local data which has been catalogued in our society library. Some members have local knowledge of the persons listed under the tombstone inscriptions. This site also carries a listing of the surnames which are being researched by our members.

We will also publish queries in our Journal at a cost of $3.00 per insertion

Queries requiring more extensive research are charged at the following rates:

Birth, Marriage and Death registrations- $5.00 each 

Obituary search- $10.00 each

Tombstone photos for  Vernon, Pleasant Valley and Coldstream cemeteries-$10.00 each

Other research- $10.00 per hour
