The city is beautifully situated and the climate is healthful and exhilarating and will undoubtedly attract a large population of farmers and small holders from other parts in Canada, seeking for such conditions as exist there. It boasts of all modern improvements, such as municipally owned water and electric light systems, sewerage, public and high schools, five churches, two banks. Has many fine mercantile establishments, well equipped hotels and sewage systems, fruit packing houses, saw mills, sash and door factories, and other flourishing industries.
