CEMETERY INSCRIPTIONS-SICAMOUS B.C.

SICAMOUS CEMETERY
 This cemetery is located several kilometers from Sicamous on the
Solsqua Road. Just east of the intersection of Highway 1 and
Highway 97, the Solsqua road turns north. Proceed north to a sharp right
bend and cross the railway tracks and proceed east with the railway
on your right. Approaching Solsqua, the cemetery sign will appear on
a gravel road to the left (North). Turn on to this road and drive
half a kilometer and a car wrecking yard will be seen on the left and
a cemetery on the right. If, while driving along the road from
Sicamous to Solsqua,  a fork in the road and houses is reached, the
turn off is back towards Sicamous 200 meters. The cemetery road
itself ends in a rock bluff and cannot be passed by.
This cemetery is very well cared for, mown grass, an avenue of trees,
topiary work evident, lime on the stones (to discourage acid and moss).
Clear markers. Site 14 Mail boxes are at the "Y" on Solsqua Road.
